10 ROUND MAGAZINES

MambaMag magazines were designed to fit into factory stocks, allowing users to increase their magazine capacity from the typical 3-rd factory mag capacity to ten rounds. For the Howa 1500 and Remington 700 variants of these magazines, MambaMag offers a replacement bottom metal that is needed to convert a factory stock from a floor plate design to a detachable box magazine design.

DETAILS:

MambaMags utilize a machined 6061-T6 aluminum upper section to offer the most reliable latching and feeding. They also utilize a polymer lower section to give a warmer feel for magazine removal and handling. The magazine has a removable bottom cover plate that allows the user to remove the internals for magazine cleaning and maintenance. The Howa 1500 and Remington 700 bottom metals use a front catch and a rear latch to provide the most stability for the magazines, while still allowing the mags to drop free.

MOUNTING AND COMPATIBLE ACCESSORIES:

The MambaMag magazine is designed to fit straight into factory stocks without any adjustments. However the Howa 1500 and Remington 700 magazines will need a MambaMag or Lucky-13 bottom metal before the magazines can be used. This is because Howa and Remington rifles come with a floor plate design, and are not compatible with a detachable magazine.

What you get, and what you need:

When you purchase a MambaMag straight-fit magazine, you receive one magazine. To use your magazine you will need a rifle corresponding to your magazine and the corresponding rounds to feed out of it. When you purchase a bottom metal you will receive a bottom metal and all the hardware required to mount it.
