MDT’s Scope Base Picatinny Rails are designed to make the mounting of your optics easier.

They are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, then hard-anodized black for a durable finish. The underside of the rails are profiled to allow the rail to be mounted flush on the receiver and to match the geometry of the ejection port.

These rails are designed with a 20 MOA incline providing additional elevation adjustment from your scope. A recoil lug has been integrated in the underside rail profile on models where the action’s design allows for this feature.

NOTES

Tikka T3 / T3x rail is receiver length and has an integrated recoil lug in form of a stainless steel pin.

CZ452 rail will only fit versions with an 11mm dovetail, not the 3/8 dovetail versions.

The CZ452/CZ455 rails use grub screws to secure to the dovetail. The 3 screw triangle is designed to have the middle screws torqued first then the two side screws, torque to 15 in.lbs.

Savage rifles manufactured after the early 2000’s have a receiver with a round front and rear (Round Back) which will fit these rails. Savage rifles manufactured prior to the early 2000’s have a receiver with a round front and a flat rear (Flat Back). MDT rails will not fit Flat Back rifles.

Please measure your centre spread before purchasing to confirm that the rail will fit your rifle. The centre spread is the distance between the two middle holes, centre to centre, on your receiver.
