They are then tumbled and polished to minimize metal to metal friction, ensuring smooth reliable feeding and reloading. The hardened steel follower is designed to provide positive lock-back after the last round, while maintaining durability for a lifetime of use. The parallel feed lips are designed to position each round into the feed ramp at a consistent angle for enhanced reliability, no matter the ammo brand.

The Nighthawk Custom 1911 magazines are easily disassembled for cleaning and routine maintenance while still maintaining a solid stop to prevent over insertion.
