The Taipan Evo from Southern Cross Small Arms is the latest evolution of Australia’s premier dual-action rifle platform. Designed for the field and refined for the modern shooter, the Evo retains the rugged reliability of the Taipan-X while introducing significant improvements in weight, ergonomics, and performance.
Now 300 grams lighter than its predecessor, the Evo enhances handling and reduces fatigue during long sessions in the field. The advanced spring-assisted pump action and straight-pull bolt system ensures fast cycling with positive battery feed, whether you’re working the oversized charging handle or the foregrip pump. It also features a new intuitive bolt catch system that speeds up reloads, especially when used with the updated flared magwell. Two enhancements driven by feedback from IPSC competition shooters to give users a competitive edge.
